About The Position

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. As a Technical Program Manager for AI features in Google Meet, you will be at the forefront of transforming how the world communicates. This role is dedicated to driving the roadmap for intelligent meeting experiences, spanning real-time AI features, Gemini-powered integrations, and advanced calling capabilities. You will serve as the glue between Research, Engineering, and Product to scale AI-driven functionality across the Google Workspace ecosystem (Calendar, Chat, and Meet). In this role, you will navigate the complexities of deploying machine learning models at scale, managing cross-functional dependencies, and leading features through the path to General Availability (GA).AI will change the future of work in profound ways, and our products— Gmail, Docs, Drive, Calendar, Sheets, Vids and Meet are at the forefront. From pre-computed summaries for email threads, summaries for meetings, and videos created from a document using lifelike AI avatars, our AI opportunity is huge. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in managing projects.
  • Experience with implementing technical designs, technical roadmaps, and system integration.
  • Experience with AI feature implementation.

Nice To Haves

  • 5 years of experience in managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience with software development.
  • Experience in leading AI features development.
  • Understanding of machine learning pipelines and model deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain dashboards for our velocity tracking efforts, use internal tools to streamline processes via code.
  • Plan, track, execute and report on project timelines and milestones across multiple programs.
  • Drive and track progress, manage risks and dependencies leading to successful outcomes.
  • Identify and drive resolution of Real Time Communication (RTC) and cross-functional process gaps that obstruct efficiency.
  • Organize team evaluation activities of AI features, ensure a stable team rating pool, etc.
