About The Position

As the Technical Program Manager, you will inspire people and organizations to
be a change agent for improving Google data center hardware new product
introduction (NPI) deployments, builds, and quality. The teams mission is to
drive Google data center machine and rack infrastructure quality and assure
continuous improvements in quality from development through full production
entry.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program management.
• Experience working with and developing quality metrics.
• Experience in electrical, electronics, hardware, or software engineering.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or mechanical engineering.
• 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Experience working in data center operations.
• Experience in product quality, machine learning, compute, or storage.

Responsibilities

• Set quality goals.
• Collaborate with product and data center quality engineers in coordination with development engineering.
• Lead data analysis efforts to track trends and identify quality/reliability escapes.
• Manage cross-functional teams including data center technicians, hardware and software engineering, and manufacturing quality engineers.
• Partner with supply chain, logistics, data center operations, reliability, and product and supplier quality teams in support of continuous improvement.
