As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. As a Technical Program Manager (TPM) on the Energy Analytics team, you will lead analyses to uncover critical risks and opportunities within Google’s global energy portfolio. Collaborating with cross-functional teams worldwide, you will bridge the gap between data and business strategy. Your work will transform data into robust, scalable analytics that directly drive high-impact decisions regarding global energy procurement and delivery. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience working in energy markets, with power utilities, or with distributed energy resources.

Nice To Haves

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop quantitative models to evaluate financial and operational risks of Google’s global energy portfolio.
  • Define and track core metrics to monitor portfolio performance, risk exposure, and progress toward Google’s Carbon-Free Energy (CFE) goals.
  • Build scalable reports and dashboards that translate energy market and portfolio data into actionable executive insights.
  • Automate analytical frameworks, data pipelines, and recurring reporting processes.
