About The Position

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. As a Technical Program Manager, you will lead exploration, development, pilot, validation, deployment, and growth of new products supporting sustaining projects that enable global data centers security, controls and service deployments. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $163,000-$237,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience in data center controls and security.

Nice To Haves

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • 5 years of experience in technical and product program management related to system integration in managing complex and large-scale projects.
  • 5 years of experience with controls and security systems or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Building Management System (BMS), Power Monitoring System (PMS), data center operations and cyber security basics to lead a program quantifying and reducing cyber risks to the data center systems.
  • Knowledge of emerging physical security system technologies and trends.
  • Understanding of data center operational and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

  • Be an advocate of the project team across the upstream and downstream partner teams across the technical infrastructure, to manage data center security and services. Drive engagement with key industry wide security software and hardware systems partners.
  • Be responsible for security operations, vulnerability management and incident response aspects of the cyber security of data center Operational Technology (OT).
  • Work with partners, this role will create and deliver a program that develops sustainable programs for software deployment, vulnerability detection and management and incident response.
  • Work with partners, this role will support OT Cyber operations, vulnerability management and incident response.
  • Run multiple projects from inception through completion using the Product Life Cycle (PLC) process.
