As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience in cyber security.
  • Experience with process improvement.

Nice To Haves

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • Experience with security analysis and assessment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify risks, drive security outcomes, and create executive briefings for Chrome leadership.
  • Provide security knowledge and guidance to a set of engineering and business teams.
  • Work with key members of the security teams and feature teams across Chrome to ensure bugs are appropriately fixed.
  • Work across cross-functional teams of engineers, product managers in executing projects from concept to launch, including planning, tracking progress, identifying and resolving issues, and managing dependencies.
  • Use AI to drive efficiency improvements in product security.
