Technical Program Manager II, Network Capacity, Cloud Networking

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in program management.
- Experience in data networking architecture.
- Experience with network capacity.
Nice To Haves
- 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience with SQL and large-scale data analysis.
Responsibilities
- Manage capacity deliverables, plan of records, and schedules.
- Ensure deliverables are managed and delivered to overall schedule.
- Understand partner team dependencies, constraints, designs and forecasting mechanisms that impact the business by engaging early and often, collaborating on process improvements and communicating.
- Work with planning to understand the plan of record, ensure dependent projects are kicked off in time to support the schedule of downstream dependencies.
- Work with partner teams to ensure project priorities are aligned, resources are secured and logistics are on point with material storage and delivery.
- Document patterns, spikes, lesson learned and proactively improve deployment times.
- Provide health reports highlighting wins, risk, and upcoming demands.
