As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. As a Technical Program Manager focused on Data Center Network Infrastructure Construction, you will leverage the experience and technical expertise to lead projects with numerous cross-functional teams. You plan requirements with internal customers and external partners to support projects through the entire project life-cycle. This includes working with customers to develop project scopes, managing project schedules, identifying risks and communicating goals to project stakeholders. Your project teams can span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and you keep all the stakeholders coordinated and informed on the project's progress and schedule. Using the technical and leadership expertise, you manage projects of various size and scope, identifying future opportunities, improving processes and driving the technical directions of your programs. The Data Center team designs and operates some of the most sophisticated electrical and HVAC systems in the world.
