About the position

As a Technical Program Manager II in Continuous Improvement for Cloud Networking at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects aimed at optimizing network reliability, delivery, and efficiency. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to manage change and drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring that the production network operates effectively and meets the needs of users globally.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across different functions and geographies.
  • Plan requirements, identify risks, and manage project schedules.
  • Communicate health, status, and actions to stakeholders including management and partner organizations.
  • Identify and assess Continuous Improvement opportunities via qualitative feedback and process data.
  • Maintain relationships with reporting and analytics for performance metrics.
  • Determine how and where new tooling should be applied in existing workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience with process and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with data analytics, reporting, and scripting using SQL or similar technologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience in vendor management in the telecommunications/network industry.
  • Experience with network planning and engineering.
