Pure Storage is seeking an energetic Technical Program Manager, Firmware Release experienced in leading engineering projects and releases from conception through release. You will utilize your skills to manage targeted hardware project schedules including software deliverables, identifying risks and working directly with stakeholders to alleviate them. You'll be developing and exercising independent judgment and recommendations that translate into a course of action.

  • Lead, coordinate, and drive firmware feature milestones for Pure's Direct Flash Module (DFM) products by developing objectives, schedules, processes, and communication plans.
  • Collaborate with system software, manufacturing, validation, and external partners across geographies to keep all stakeholders aligned on status, priorities, and risks.
  • Plan and coordinate DFM firmware releases, ensuring smooth integration with system software and alignment with hardware and validation requirements.
  • Support and improve the team's agile practices - including sprint planning, backlog management, and cross-team syncs - to enhance predictability, velocity, and alignment.
  • Understand and communicate technical requirements, dependencies, and expectations; identify gaps, mitigate risks, and drive timely checkpoint decisions.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and tools to provide real-time visibility into program health, progress, and risks, with clear communication to executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Continuously improve the efficiency, discipline, and quality of firmware development and release management processes and tools.
  • 7+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager; MS in computer science, MBA or engineering management equivalent preferred.
  • Experience managing SW releases with predictable and frequent cadence.
  • Solid project and technical judgment; ability to influence a growing organization.
  • Take ownership of the product experience, quality, and metrics.
  • Solid knowledge of end-to-end best practices.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical, cross-functional groups.
