Are you a seasoned electrical professional with a passion for program development and workforce training? This role combines technical subject matter expertise with strategic program management to build scalable training solutions that enhance safety, knowledge, and confidence across the industrial electrical workforce.

  • Program Development & Strategy Design and implement technical training programs aligned with business goals and industry standards.
  • Build frameworks for onboarding, upskilling, and certification pathways for electricians, technicians, and engineers.
  • Partner with leadership to identify skill gaps and create targeted learning roadmaps.
  • Technical Subject Matter Expertise Serve as the go-to authority on high-voltage systems, switchgear, renewable energy systems, and substation operations.
  • Ensure programs reflect best practices in electrical theory, diagnostics, and safety standards (NFPA 70E, CSA Z462).
  • Content Creation & Delivery Develop curriculum, hands-on exercises, and assessments for classroom and virtual environments.
  • Apply adult learning principles to maximize engagement and retention.
  • Oversee LMS integration and digital learning tools for program delivery.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration Work cross-functionally with operations, safety, and HR teams to align training programs with organizational priorities.
  • Mentor junior trainers and provide coaching to technical staff transitioning into leadership roles.
  • Continuous Improvement Monitor program effectiveness through KPIs and learner feedback.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to keep programs current.
  • 7–10+ years in industrial electrical roles (electrician, high-voltage tester, or engineer).
  • 3–5 years in program management, training development, or technical leadership.
  • Proven ability to design and scale technical programs for diverse audiences.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into structured learning programs.
  • Proficiency with LMS platforms, PowerPoint, Excel, and program analytics.
  • Preferably NETA 3 or 4.
  • Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Program Management certification (PMP or similar).
  • NFPA 70E or CSA Z462 Instructor Certification.
