Come join us in ASK creating a world class Developer Experience (DX), in Alexa to make Alexa developers more efficient. The ASK Developer Tools team is looking for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to help us in our mission to make developers focus on creating magical experiences and making their life easier through SDK, CLI and visual tools. As a Sr. TPM, you will own the strategy for the prompt engineering and evaluation space. You will work on projects that enable developer to provide instructions to the LLM in an efficient manner that drives consistent experiences. In your role, you will provide a safe and efficient way to update prompts at scale for Alexa developers. In your role, you will devise the short term program plans and long term strategy for 1st and 3rd party software developers across the Alexa community.

  • Own the strategy for the prompt engineering and evaluation space.
  • Work on projects that enable developers to provide instructions to the LLM efficiently.
  • Devise short term program plans and long term strategy for software developers across the Alexa community.
  • Lead strategic initiatives across many teams to provide developers with high-impact improvements.
  • Drive technical requirements, design, and delivery planning across engineering teams and stakeholders.
  • Enable transparency and decision-making across leadership by providing critical communication and clear status of initiatives.
  • Write technical specifications and own program schedules from design to release.
  • Partner effectively with other teams across Alexa.
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
