About The Position

The AI Security Nexus is an executive-sponsored program at the core of Palo Alto Networks' thought leadership strategy. We serve as the definitive global leader for cutting-edge AI security resources. We translate complex strategic foresight into high-impact, measurable content assets designed to educate executives, practitioners, and industry stakeholders. As a Technical Program Manager (TPM) for this program, you will architect the operational frameworks that maximize our velocity and global influence. The TPM is the operational leader for the AI Security Nexus content engine. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of our “products”: the high-velocity content, podcasts, and events that define our program. You will work within standard practices to track project milestones, unblock technical workstreams, and maintain the quality of our asset delivery pipeline. You will report to the Program Lead and act as a primary liaison between our Shared Services teams, technical SMEs, and other internal stakeholders to ensure flawless execution of our strategic roadmap.

Requirements

  • Technical & Operational Skills
  • Good understanding of program management tools like Asana, and development processes like issue tracking and documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver on defined tasks within a fast-paced, highly collaborative
  • Experience tracking project health, identifying risks, and accurately articulating technical issues to stakeholders.
  • Experience in AI and/or Cybersecurity is a big plus but not required, however an aptitude for learning technical concepts is required.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver technical presentations and coordinate with high-profile guest speakers.

Responsibilities

  • Project Coordination & Execution Efficiency
  • Independently manage and prioritize your daily task list based on established program guidance. You will be responsible for keeping the production "engine" running and identifying which follow-ups are critical to keeping content production moving.
  • Learn and apply cross-departmental Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to project production timelines. Exercise good judgment in ensuring workback plans account for required review periods from Legal, Brand, Technical SMEs, Program Lead, etc.
  • Support the Program Lead in maintaining and executing realistic and executable workback schedules. You will help track the countdown to content and event launches, helping to ensure every contributor is aware of their deadlines relative to final launch dates.
  • Effectively use project management tools (e.g. Asana) to provide an accurate, real-time view of project health. Maintain a PM calendar that serves as a single source of truth for where an asset sits in the production lifecycle.
  • Proactively recognize when a task is slipping or a dependency is blocked. You will be expected to flag these risks early and provide a clear summary of the issue to the Program Lead and other stakeholders so the team can unblock the workstream or escalate as needed.
  • Act as a primary connector across the program ecosystem. You will foster a collaborative environment by proactively engaging with contributors, ensuring they feel supported.
  • Draft "executive-ready" communications and project updates with a professional voice that builds trust, ensures stakeholder alignment, and communicates objectives in a clear and concise manner.
  • High-Velocity Media & Event Logistics
  • Coordinate the "AI Security Nexus Podcast” production pipeline, including scheduling high-profile guest speakers, managing recording logistics, and assigning/tracking script writing. Ensure all contributors are briefed and prepared, helping to maintain a premium standard for every production.
  • Build productive internal relationships with Product, Analyst Relations, PR, PMM, and Legal teams to build trust and effectively facilitate the routing of content for technical and editorial approvals.
  • Follow and contribute to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for content libraries, publishing workflows, lead capture processes, etc.
  • Execute tactical logistics for in-person community meetups and sidecar program events (e.g., vendor coordination and technical hardware procurement and support).
