About The Position

The Technical Program Manager role at Insight Global focuses on driving execution and delivery of technical projects within a collaborative environment. This position requires coordination across multiple agile teams, ensuring that projects related to Core Content Management System Technologies are delivered on time and meet quality standards. The role emphasizes strong communication, technical understanding, and the ability to manage risks and dependencies effectively.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressively complex program/project management experience in a technical setting.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies developing software applications and effectively playing the role of Scrum Lead.
• 2+ years of experience with Content Management Systems and tools used for editing and curating content for digital properties.
• Strong experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with Smartsheet or Airtable, with Airtable being a significant plus.
• Experience in the digital/entertainment/media space.
• Experience supporting backend systems and CMS systems.
• Experience executing both Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies.
• Technical/engineering/architecture background.
• Experience in digital consumer products and platforms.
• Demonstrated understanding of multiple software development life cycle models including Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and Kanban methodologies.
• Expertise with program management, analysis, and reporting tools including Jira/Confluence and Smartsheet.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills across all levels of stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects or programs.

Nice To Haves

• PMI Certification with a thorough understanding of Project Management methodologies and techniques.
• CSM/CSP Certification with a thorough understanding of Scrum Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Drive execution and delivery of technical, product, or software development projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate across 4-7 agile teams to support backend teams, including APIs and databases.
• Communicate and share status updates with other teams to keep them informed.
• Accountable for delivery dates and driving work to ensure project timelines are met.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to establish project scope and plan necessary work.
• Monitor and communicate progress, proactively managing risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Organize and plan work instinctively, clearing obstacles and driving progress.
