Technical Professional Level II
About The Position
Technical Professional II is responsible for designing, developing, and testing solution to solve technical problems. Support the engineering activities for the Environmental Control Systems on the International Space Station Program including design analysis and on orbit trouble shooting of active systems. Provide engineering support in review of the on orbit telemetry data for the Environmental Control Life Support Team. Performs design development, maintenance and modification of the Environmental Control Systems and components. Assist in preparing and presenting technical documents for the Environmental System components and systems. Support a variety of independent research and development activities for space related life support applications.
Requirements
- BS or MS in engineering (or related engineering field)
- One to five (1-5) years' experience.
- Proficient with MATLAB
- Proficient with Python
- Have previously worked in design of Carbon Dioxide management devices in closed environments
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S.
