Purpose: Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Technical Product Owner, Make Site Leader within the Enterprise Supply Chain Business Technology Make Product Group. This position will be based at the MedTech Costa Rica Make site location in Grecia, Alajuela primarily supporting our orthopaedics manufacturing operations. JJT Make Site Leaders are responsible for the product technology direction and serve as a critical point of contact for business and JJT. Individuals in JJT Make organization work with Senior JJT and Business Leaders to identify and prioritize solutions for their product group and oversee the consistent implementation of these solutions across the business. They will exhibit strong influence and passion for driving the organization towards consistent technology solutions aligned to overall JJT strategy.

  • Serve as the JJT Make Site leader:
  • Actively lead the Plant Ecosystem as a JJT Site Leader for ownership of local products and work toward redefining to a platform or standard product according to JJT MAKE strategy.
  • Collaborate with global leaders with across supply chain and technology to define the Mfg site's digital roadmap and drive continuous improvement.
  • Shape and prioritize backlog, utilizing business expertise and understanding of customer needs, translate requirements into user stories & acceptance criteria
  • Balance business value with technical feasibility while prioritizing stories and features, optimizing cost and improving delivery efficiency
  • Be the single point of contact for site finance on technology budgeting and business planning for technology deployments.
  • Act as the "voice of the customer" within the squad to ensure the squad "builds the right thing"
  • Accountable for shaping and hitting squad OKRs
  • Ensure the products / features / work meets relevant security, privacy & compliance standards
  • Drive continuous improvement across the product lifecycle
  • Drive engagement with third parties to support delivery of squad objectives
  • Responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to next management level
  • Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
  • For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology or Manufacturing Operations is preferred.
  • 6-8+ years of experience.
  • Proven knowledge of standard practices, technology and supporting industry principles
  • Experience gathering requirements and translating into a product or plant ecosystem vision.
  • Deep understanding of business/processes and high-level understanding of high-quality digital product delivery
  • Experienced in developing systems and tools to enable customer interactions and collaboration.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience in MedTech, Life Sciences or other regulated industry preferred
  • Experienced in leading a product backlog/release plan, tracking team level metrics, attend product team ceremonies, removing blockers (burndown chart, release burn up)
