About The Position

Vanguard is seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead the strategic vision and roadmap for products within our middle office operations, specifically focused on corporate actions. In this role, you will serve as a key influencer of business strategy, collaborating closely with partners across the enterprise to ensure alignment between product capabilities and operational needs.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required.
  • Graduate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of eight years related business experience.
  • Three years of leading large cross-functional teams on major organizational projects preferred.
  • Experience in digital product management or operations, with a strong focus on corporate actions and middle office processes.
  • Ability to translate business needs into scalable, well-integrated product solutions that support operational goals.
  • Strategic approach with a focus on continuous improvement, product performance, and user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical product management activities for multiple technical products, or one strategic technical product, with cross-divisional impact.
  • Drive the design and continuous improvement of the technical solution.
  • Influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create standard methodologies that drive significant change to the client experience.
  • Ensure business outcomes are linked to business case drivers.
  • Coach technical product teams toward best practices and learnings.
  • Oversee product teams' support of messaging, communication, and customer outreach as necessary.
  • Facilitate strong business support by working with team members to promote a consistent approach to decisions, impacts, and client propositions.
  • Drive connection across all appropriate internal and external collaborators.
  • Own the planning, development, and implementation of new technical products with cross-divisional impact.
  • Define and analyze technical markets, develop detailed product features and requirements, and create implementation plans.
  • Influence and employ a variety of qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to continually improve the user experience.
  • Participate in and influence ongoing business planning and departmental prioritization activities.
  • Drive the team’s engineering practices in development, continuous integration, and automated deployment.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
