About The Position

You’ll help build the technical backbone that powers our digital products and brings HOPE to millions of people every day. As a Technical Product Manager, you’ll partner with engineers, SETs, and cross-functional leaders to shape the internal tools, APIs, and platform services that make our teams faster, more consistent, and more effective. You’ll bridge strategy and execution—rolling up your sleeves to solve complex problems, remove roadblocks, and make sure our technology scales with excellence and purpose.

Requirements

  • You have 5+ years of experience in a software environment—engineering, product, or related roles.
  • You have 2+ years of experience managing product roadmaps, backlogs, and delivery using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • You have 2+ years of experience building software across front-end/back-end/API layers and understand trade-offs across architecture.
  • You’re fluent in Agile principles—building discovery cards, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria that actually move work forward.
  • You’re comfortable leading conversations about architecture, performance trade-offs, cloud infrastructure, and integrations.
  • You can translate technical details into clear, meaningful communication—whether you’re presenting to senior leadership or writing documentation that helps others succeed.

Responsibilities

  • You own and maintain a focused, prioritized technical roadmap for internal tools, APIs, and platform services that empower engineering teams to deliver faster and better.
  • You lead with clarity and partnership, helping engineers unblock challenges and make smart trade-offs.
  • You build shared services and abstractions that reduce duplication and unlock speed across multiple product teams.
  • You define and track SLAs, error budgets, and performance metrics that prove reliability and drive excellence.
  • You deliver documentation, SDKs, and onboarding guides that make our internal tools easy to adopt and even easier to love.
  • You communicate boldly and clearly—helping leadership understand the “why” behind technical decisions and influencing the future of our platform.
  • You keep a steady feedback loop with engineers, continuously refining our platform strategy based on what’s working and where we can grow.
