About The Position

The Technical Product Manager serves as a strategic and technical leader within the Product team, ensuring that Come and See Foundation delivers high-quality, scalable, and mission-aligned digital products. This role provides product direction while also overseeing engineering execution, architectural soundness, code quality, and long-term technology strategy across our outsourced engineering partners. Reporting to the Principal Product Manager, the Technical Product Manager acts as a trusted advisor, technical steward, and collaborative problem solver—bridging the gap between product vision and engineering execution. While this is not an engineering role, it requires someone with hands-on software development experience who can engage in code reviews, contribute small code changes, manage skunkworks prototyping, and guide teams toward technical excellence. The ideal candidate is a hybrid thinker—part engineer, part product strategist—who is comfortable shaping product requirements, challenging technical decisions, and driving engineering best practices, all while maintaining a servant-hearted approach consistent with our mission to share the story of Jesus globally.

  • Proficiency with at least one modern programming language (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Swift, Kotlin).
  • Experience conducting code reviews, debugging issues, and contributing to small code changes.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and development best practices.
  • Ability to evaluate technical trade-offs and guide teams toward scalable solutions.
  • Experience integrating third-party services, SDKs, and platform APIs.
  • Comfort working across mobile apps, web applications, backend services, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in software engineering, technical product management, or a hybrid engineering/product role.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead without authority, influence engineering teams, and drive alignment across stakeholders.
