The Technical Product Manager Swiss Data Protection Technology - Private Bank is a hybrid role combining the management and operation of tokenisation technology with a broader support role for architectural expertise on systems integration, esp. for applications hosted out of Switzerland. What you will do: As Technical Product Manager you will will be accountable for managing a small team enabling the technical hosting and run-time operation of tokenisation technology that based on 3rd party products, running on AWS, and integrating with consumer business applications running outside Switzerland. The Technical Product Manager is an experienced engineering professional with an architecture thinking mindset and business domain knowledge who is responsible for providing subject expertise and guidance alongside the engineering function. That expertise and guidance is specifically relevant for guiding global teams on how to deploy and integrate their business application in the Swiss market, or how to integrate their business application with the SDPT Technology. This guidance also is to make sure global patterns and strategies are adopted as appropriate. The Technical Product Manager primary stakeholders are on the one hand in-country interested parties in ensuring HSBC remains compliant with Swiss regulations when it comes to client data management, and on the other hand the global stakeholders relying on the local guidance such as Sub-Value Stream (SVS), Business Outcome & Technical Leads and Technical Product Owners. In this role you will: Work with Product Owner and DevOps team, and be responsible for the delivery, ongoing success and continuous improvmeent of the SDPT platform. This includes: Formulate the test strategies, including test automation, test data, test environments, as well as non-functional and security testing, with Product owner and Security specialists. Ensure compliance with mandatory and regulatory requirements, control objectives as per risk and control framework – including data controls, technical currency and data standards, and implementation of business imperatives Ensure adherence to service management standards, service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives Pursue high levels of automation Management of the vendor relationship(s) related to the SDPT underlying components Management of total cost of ownership of the SDPT platform. Stakeholder management of the cyber, risk and compliance functions of the Swiss bank that have a keen interest in secure client data management Define solution designs for changes in the Swiss hosted IT landscape. This includes: In a way that supports the execution of the iWPB (international Wealth & Personal Banking) technology strategy and roadmap to deliver the Private Bank Future State Architecture (FSA), Articulating and addressing associated risks, issues, and technical debt. Ensuring the integrity of the design is maintained throughout the development lifecycle, liaising with the engineering team to ensure standards and regulatory requirements are incorporated. Collaborate with the various technical product owners looking for opportunities to improve the current landscape. Act as an interface to other engineering groups both regional and at Group level. Lead proof of concepts for new technical solutions and designs where appropriate. Lead clear choice of buy versus build decisions and vendor selection where appropriate.
