About The Position

The Technical Product Manager for Support Systems at YouTube will lead the design and development of innovative products that enhance user experience across the YouTube Support ecosystem. This role focuses on integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) into product development to improve efficiency and user satisfaction. The manager will work closely with engineering teams and executive partners to develop long-term roadmaps and ensure successful product releases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience in solution engineering or architecture.
• 5 years of experience managing internal or external partners or customers.
• 3 years of experience writing code in programming languages such as Python or Java.
• 2 years of experience in people management in product management or technical solutions delivery.
• Experience working with AI/ML teams or products.

Nice To Haves

• Experience designing technology solutions to business needs and leading engineers to implement those solutions.
• Experience integrating internal systems and defining data architecture.
• Experience drawing insights from large data sets using SQL.
• Experience with design thinking, design sprints, or experiment creation methods.

Responsibilities

• Structure and lead the design and development of products, advocating for the incorporation of AI/ML into product development.
• Develop and own customer support product goals, translating them into a prioritized product backlog.
• Partner with Engineering teams to create detailed systems design and ensure effective testing, launching, and adoption of products.
• Communicate with executive business partners and influence Business Technology leadership regarding AI/ML investments.
• Execute successful product releases by providing comprehensive documentation, training, troubleshooting, and support.
