About The Position

Resurrection has an opening for a Technical Producer in the Resurrection Experience Division! The position is part-time, non-exempt and is located at the Spring Hill location at 112 E Nichols St, Spring Hill, KS 66083. Please see below for a full job description. Job Summary The Technical Producer directly oversees and provides technical production support for the ministries at the location by leading the execution of technical components of weekend worship, including, but not limited to, audio, lighting, graphics, video, and staging.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience leading, organizing and motivating groups of people
  • Proven ability to clearly communicate logistical and technical information
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly to artists and tech crews in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ProPresenter
  • Physical requirements: must be able to lift objects weighing 50 pounds regularly

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working in the technical production is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates with Tech Producers across the church’s locations to ensure consistent excellence in implementation of the church’s audio, visual and lighting resources to achieve the church’s purpose.
  • Works with the Location Pastor and Worship Leader to plan for the design, preparation and execution for all worship services and production-supported events.
  • Recruits, trains, mentors, and empowers technical production volunteers for weekend services.
  • Provides audio support for worship services and music rehearsals.
  • Coordinates the playback of all video and graphic elements.
  • Oversees implementation of theatrical lighting design, stage and set design and visual elements.
  • Directly manages setting and striking of the stage including, audio cables, monitors, microphones, stands, direct boxes, instruments, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Support the church’s purpose of “building a Christian community where non-religious and nominally religious people become deeply committed Christians.”
  • Exemplify the church’s values and support its theological direction as a United Methodist Church.
