Technical Procurement Director

About the position

The Technical Procurement Director is responsible for managing all the Activities for Technical Procurement Categories with the purpose to lead, develop and execute sourcing of the specific categories for Industrial Supply Chain and Plant, including Infrastructures, Process and Logistics Equipment, Maintenance, Laboratory & Quality, Spare Parts, PPE & Clothing, Technical Services, Waste Management, Industrial Cleaning Services, and Energy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning and execution of all local sourcing and tendering processes to ensure transparent negotiations with vendors and suppliers.
• Minimize procurement costs and mitigate risks related to product availability, dependency, and financial risks to guarantee business continuity.
• Lead and develop a procurement team, ensuring a management system based on Group values, motivation, diversity & inclusion, competence development, and empowerment.
• Encourage solid integration and clean communication between central and local Technical Procurement teams.
• Adhere to Ferrero Procurement Policies and Procedures; facilitate and coordinate the local implementation of the Source-to-Pay-Policy and Technical Procurement Group operating standard.
• Act as the main point of contact between the local Technical Procurement team and local internal stakeholders of the Region.
• Participate in the Plant Strategy Meeting and the Masterplan development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree as minimum request.
• 10+ years procurement experience.
