About The Position

Our Mission: To create a global community that teaches people how to live a true spiritual life, helping them deepen their relationship with God and grow spiritually. Your Role: As our Technical Podcast Producer, you’re not just producing a podcast - you’re engineering a movement. You are the technical anchor of our recording sessions, responsible for ensuring every technical detail is flawlessly executed so our hosts and guests can focus completely on creating great content. You will work directly with our team to set up, record, and package every episode for our post-production team. You’ll handle project management across our post-production work, like overseeing that each stage of editing is moving along amongst the post-production team. You will be responsible for the entire in-studio production process, from pre-production to asset handoff, to ensuring that the episodes are getting fully edited & produced for their release dates. Constant growth in our content's quality, technical execution, and meeting deadlines is what you’ll be measured by. Location: Must live in Los Angeles, CA or be able to easily commute 2-3 days per week.

Requirements

Must be based in Los Angeles and able to work in-person at our studio.
Has a strong portfolio of past podcast production work.
Deep experience setting up and operating multi-camera video shoots (specifically with Sony A7siii’s or similar).
Proven experience in running a multi-cam livestream with a live, digital audience.
Proven expertise with podcast audio equipment (mixers, microphones) and hardware (ATEM Mini Pro ISO, RØDECaster Pro II).
Experience with content strategy and analyzing YouTube performance data.
Must be proficient in the following:
Hardware: Sony A7siii, ATEM Mini Pro ISO, RØDECaster Pro II
Software: Adobe Premiere
Project Management: Notion, ClickUp (or similar like Asana)
Platforms: YouTube Studio Analytics, TikTok & Instagram Reels
Utilities: Google Drive, Basic Server File Management, Rev.ai/Whisper

Responsibilities

Own the entire in-studio technical production, managing all gear, recording, and livestreaming for two (and potentially three) shows per week. (only 1 of the 3 shows will be a livestream)
Lead the execution of all asset handoffs, ensuring 100% of footage and project assets are perfectly organized and delivered to the post-production team within 10 hours of recording.
Project manage the entire
Constantly find new ways to improve performance, analyzing viewer retention, tracking growth metrics, and proposing new growth experiments to help grow the podcast.
In-Studio Production: Own the end-to-end in-studio setup (multi-cam, audio, lighting) for all podcast and livestream recordings.
Recording & Livestream Management: Flawlessly manage the ATEM Mini Pro ISO and RØDECaster Pro II during all sessions, ensuring all files are captured.
Asset Handoff: Own the real-time timestamping, creation of editing notes, and rapid handoff of all assets to the post-production team.
Post-Production Coordination: Serve as the technical liaison for editors and project managers, ensuring all assets are correct and available.
Long-Form Quality Control: Own the final sign-off, guaranteeing the edit is a perfect execution of the production blueprint and meets our creative standard.
Short-Form Quality Control: Uphold our standard of excellence by owning the final quality assurance, ensuring every caption is grammatically perfect and error-free.
Strategic Content Optimization: Pull performance data weekly, propose 1 change/month to improve hook retention or engagement curve.
