About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Technical Platform Analyst on our Digital Platforms team to help lead the design, development, and implementation of our patient-facing digital capabilities and experiences. In this role, you will own and craft the strategy and vision, roadmap, steer design and development, and partner to engineer the services and capabilities that power our various patient and HCP experiences. Our digital services and capabilities are core to everything that we build. This individual will play a pivotal role in how we continue to re-invent, evolve, and remain industry pioneers in how we deliver the best-in-class experiences to our customers. This position is located in Titusville, NJ or Horsham, PA and may require up to 10% travel within the New Jersey/Pennsylvania area and occasionally across North America. We are seeking a Lead, Technical Platform Analyst to join our Innovative Medicine North America & GCSO organization. This is a high-impact, strategic role at the intersection of engineering and product management, with an opportunity to shape the future of our digital ecosystem. As a key member of our team, you will help define, engineer, and scale platform solutions that power next-generation customer experiences. You’ll identify unmet customer needs, connect insights across brands and therapeutic areas, and lead with an engineering mindset to deliver solutions that are both technically sound and business-relevant. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Architecture, or related field required. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience designing and building large-scale distributed systems using Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) or microservices.
  • Proficiency with Git-based source control tools such as Bitbucket.
  • Strong familiarity with AWS and its core services (e.g., S3, API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, RDS, EKS, EC2).
  • Hands-on experience with REST and GraphQL APIs, including pub/sub content models.
  • Front-end development experience with frameworks such as React and Next.js.
  • Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages: TypeScript, Python, Node.js, or Rust.
  • 3–5+ years leading digital product strategy and development, ideally for large-scale, high-performance applications.
  • Deep understanding of product management practices: customer discovery, MVP definition, usability testing, and go-to-market planning.
  • Experience with Agile/Lean development, including Test-Driven Development, QA automation, and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of site architecture, UX design principles, and software quality processes.
  • Strong ability to translate complex business problems into clear technical solutions and deliver measurable results.
  • Skilled in writing concise user stories, acceptance criteria, and roadmaps that clearly articulate value and delivery timelines.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze trends, define KPIs, and develop performance improvement plans.
  • Exceptional collaboration, communication, and influencing skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven experience leading teams, developing talent, and fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture.
  • Passion for continuous learning and staying at the forefront of digital technology trends.

Responsibilities

  • Design and manage scalable services: Evolve our service-oriented architecture into a flexible, hub-and-spoke model that enables product teams to rapidly scale microservices across the Innovative Medicine IT ecosystem.
  • Build reusable capabilities: Apply well-architected design principles to develop microservices that support omni-channel experiences across our product portfolio.
  • Lead Agile delivery: Serve as Product Owner for an Agile team—owning the backlog, crafting user stories and acceptance criteria, prioritizing work, and driving sprint goals tied to measurable business outcomes.
  • Shape platform architecture: Define and review system architecture and design patterns for core microservices; drive a headless, content-based approach to deliver personalized digital experiences.
  • Measure and optimize performance: Continuously analyze platform and product performance to identify opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and customer value creation.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment: Partner with engineering, solution architecture, brand, and IT teams to translate business opportunities into scalable technology solutions.
  • Develop a platform roadmap: Build and maintain a roadmap of platform capabilities and services that enable agility, reusability, and faster delivery of customer experiences.
  • Champion best practices: Engage with internal IT communities of practice to align on architecture standards, technology selection, and operational excellence.
  • Foster a test-and-learn culture: Encourage experimentation and data-driven decisions that align with business objectives, compliance, and customer insights.
  • Ensure operational excellence: Establish governance, processes, and communication frameworks to ensure delivery consistency, quality, and compliance.
  • Stay ahead of trends: Monitor emerging technologies and collaborate with internal and external partners to identify innovative approaches to digital engagement.
