About The Position

We are looking for a Technical Operations Support to join our US team as we expand our presence across North and Central America. In this role, you will support project management activities, including initiating hardware procurement, staging sensors, configuring servers, shipping hardware, and coordinating installation with third-party vendors. You will also oversee small to medium-sized projects, primarily focused on customers in airports, retail environments, and other public spaces.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent industry experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with sensor and data analytics solutions, such as lidar, people counters, and cameras
• Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems
• Experience with IaaS/PaaS solutions, such as AWS or Azure
• Experience with switching and routing principles and technologies, such as TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, DHCP, DNS, Routing, VLAN

Responsibilities

• Use the Bill of Materials (BOM) to validate and procure hardware
• Stage sensors (configure DHCP, static IPs, and NTP)
• Configure servers (Linux environment)
• Assemble installation kits
• Ship hardware and maintain an accurate shipping log
• Coordinate hardware installations with customers and third-party contractors
• Assist with end-to-end project management
• Manage small to medium-sized projects, ensuring timely execution
• Update and track project plans
• Identify project risks and communicate mitigation strategies
• Provide Level 1 technical support
• Onsite presence required at Beonic’s Costa Mesa office
