About The Position

As a Technical Operations Administrator, you’ll be at the heart of WAVE’s day‑to‑day operations—connecting physicians and practice staff with our software, systems, and manufacturing partners. You’ll combine technical troubleshooting, customer support, and operational coordination to ensure our customers have a seamless experience from first inquiry through final lens delivery. This is a great role for someone who enjoys variety, learning, attention to detail, and being a trusted resource to customers and teammates alike.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in technical support, operations, or a similar role
  • Comfort with Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience working with CRM or ERP systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills—you explain things clearly and confidently
  • A natural aptitude for technology, software, and basic networking concepts
  • Familiarity with operating systems, file sharing, remote access tools, and technical terminology
  • Excellent organization and multitasking skills
  • A customer‑first mindset and professional demeanor
  • Curiosity, motivation, and a desire to keep learning
  • A collaborative attitude and continuous‑improvement mentality

  • A certificate or associate degree in business, technology, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers via phone, email, chat, and remote support
  • Troubleshoot software, network, and system issues using curiosity and clear step‑by‑step guidance
  • Support customers with software setup, updates, and reinstallation
  • Learn and apply knowledge of WAVE’s medical devices and lens design solutions
  • Guide customers through lens ordering, re‑ordering, and return processes
  • Monitor orders, resolve issues, and communicate closely with manufacturing labs
  • Partner with R&D when more complex issues arise
  • Capture customer feedback and share insights to support continuous improvement
  • Manage leads, data, and records within our CRM system
  • Maintain accurate documentation and customer/lab records
  • Follow up with prospects to collect documentation and assist with account setup
  • Collaborate across teams within WAVE Eyecare and OCULUS to deliver great service and results
  • Participate in ongoing training and learning within the contact lens and medical technology space
  • Contribute to special projects that support a growing, innovative business
