Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing Asset Strategy, the Cooker, Hydrostatic Sterilizer and related Thermal Processes Technical Manager is responsible for implementing and driving standardization of reliability best practices for cookers, sterilizers, and ancillary equipment across the network. This position will be responsible for developing short- and long-term asset strategies, driving improvement in specific equipment reliability throughout the life of the assets, developing local expertise/capability, and implementing maintenance and operational standards, inclusive of spare parts inventory requirements. Additionally, this role will help to develop and support periodic system inspections, build a planned downtime forecast, manage communications, develop local optimization programs, and establish capital plans for each applicable site.
