About The Position

The Technical Manufacturing/Engineering Coordinator - Sales Support role at Diversified Plastics Corp is designed for a self-driven individual who is eager to learn and improve processes within the company. This position combines engineering knowledge with sales support, focusing on understanding technical molding processes to effectively communicate with customers and enhance their purchasing experience. The role involves training under the current Technical Sales Engineer and eventually taking on responsibilities such as preparing RFQs and building relationships with automotive customers.

Requirements

• Basic CAD experience (SolidWorks preferred).
• High degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Strong character and relationship-building abilities.
• Accuracy in documentation and discipline in following procedures.
• Project management skills (experience is helpful).
• Full understanding of Microsoft 365 products.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in product development.
• Technical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to stay current on relevant processes.
• Sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn working knowledge of processing products to engage in intelligent conversations with customers.
• Understand what can and cannot be molded and suggest changes for efficiency.
• Familiarize with press layouts for informed decisions on cavitation and product placement.
• Identify customer needs and seek improvements in their purchasing experience.
• Prepare and present RFQs for review by Production, Safety, and Quality team leaders.
