About The Position

Oceaneering Integrity Management and Digital Solutions (IMDS) delivers capability, safety, and reliability. Accountable for writing company inspection procedures in accordance with ASNT-SNT-TC-1A. Work with the Service Excellence Team Training Manager and assist in the development of curriculum as well as instruct courses as needed. Oversee and assist efforts in maintaining company ISO 9001/2008 standards. Develop and deliver ASNT NDT training. Also, support and deliver training based on governing bodies as well as industry standards and recommendations. LOCATION: Role provides the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, working both virtually and in office when required. Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.

Requirements

  • Minimum five (5) years inspection experience.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience with ASNT NDT Must have ASNT NDT Level III certifications in at least (4) Four applicable methods.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience with ISO 9001/2008 standards.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and documents such as codes, standards, safety rules, operating and maintenance. instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Also requires flexibility regarding overtime and out-of-town or overseas travel when needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior offshore, oilfield inspection and/or non-destructive testing (NDT) experience helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, revise, review and comment on NDE procedures and techniques. Participate in developing procedures in accordance with industry codes and client specifications.
  • Teach, train and communicate ASNT guidelines to effectively provide a qualified workforce to clients when needed. Develop and deliver training on NDT curriculum and guidelines
  • Maintain technician NDT certifications.
  • Assist in managing ISO 9001:2008 quality system including internal audits, root cause evaluations, corrective/preventive action process, internal audits, documentation and resolves quality issues while maintaining compliance with applicable quality standards.
  • Provide NDE knowledge and support to Inspection staff and clients.
  • Assist in the development of NDE applications for use in the field.
  • Keep up to date on current and developing technology and make recommendations that will benefit company goals.
  • Contribute to maintaining our ABS and DNV certifications.
  • Conduct internal and external vendor audits.
  • Provide technical assistance to Purchasing to facilitate improved quality of purchased NDE equipment and evaluate potential suppliers.
  • Confers with management and project personnel to provide technical consultation to assist in determining method applicability and resolve issues.
  • Other duties as required.
