Under the direction of the Software Development Manager, the Technical Manager provides expert product support and historical context to the development and support teams to maximize product success and efficiencies and troubleshoot as needed.

  • Investigates and analyzes technical support items received from the support team, providing timely and thorough responses.
  • Monitors and manages the daily support queue, ensuring issues are triaged and addressed efficiently.
  • Collaborates with the Implementations Team to support ongoing client implementations and technical setup.
  • Provides technical support for industry data standards, system modifications, and legacy code, including debugging and minor code fixes.
  • Maintains and monitors team-specific status alerts and system dashboards, creating development tickets as needed to address issues.
  • Reviews and responds to daily technical errors, proactively identifying recurring issues and recommending solutions.
  • Oversees technical setup and configuration tasks to ensure systems are properly implemented and maintained.
  • Supports the configuration and optimization of internal tools and product features to improve team workflows.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert for both internal and external stakeholders and provides training and technical expertise as needed
  • Additional duties as assigned
  • A degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
  • Possesses high level technical skills in order to perform SQL database queries
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess issues and recommend solutions.
  • Ability to develop and communicate technical plans and solutions across multiple teams or departments.
  • Demonstrated adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies and tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proven ability to meet critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality of work
  • Proven experience with troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex technical issues.
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, honesty, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to maintain discretion when handling proprietary and confidential information
