In this role, you will oversee our technical infrastructure—from software and feeds to studio expansions—while spearheading technical training across the newsroom. You will partner with Facilities and Video Engineering to maintain and expand our studios in New York, Washington, San Francisco, and London. As a key collaborator with Live Events and Video, you will ensure seamless production integration and provide expert coaching to talent, troubleshooting technical hurdles to guarantee a world-class audience experience. You will also be the guardian of production best practices, equipping our journalists with the training and tools necessary to capture high-quality sound. Join a growing, ambitious unit that collaborates across the WSJ to produce factual, news-driven podcasts covering business, tech, politics, and finance. You will help define and execute the "WSJ Sound," with ample opportunity to contribute to show production and original composition. This position is based in our New York City office and reports to the Head of Audio. It's a hybrid role, 3 days in office.
