About The Position

We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Automotive Technical Manager to deliver high-quality training in automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the automotive industry and a strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to learners of varying skill levels.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Technology or related field (or equivalent industry experience).
  • ASE Master Technician certification or manufacturer-specific certifications required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in automotive service or repair.
  • Prior teaching or training experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools, service software, and technical manuals.
  • Must have strong people, interpersonal skills, and presentation capabilities.
  • Must have superior verbal/written skills with the ability to communicate effectively to employees, clients, customers, team members, and all levels of management.
  • Excellent team leadership experience.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 30%.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background check.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging instructional content on automotive systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, HVAC, and diagnostics.
  • Conduct classroom and hands-on training sessions.
  • Assess student performance through practical evaluations, written tests, and project-based learning.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and certifications (e.g., ASE, OEM standards).
  • Maintain training materials and update curriculum to reflect new automotive technologies and service procedures.
