About The Position

This role requires a combination of technical and business skills to prioritize critical work related to Oracle's database offerings and their evolution into future technologies, including Agentic AI. The position is designed for individuals who can navigate ambiguity and provide strong inputs to drive the direction of database technologies.

Requirements

• 10–20+ years in software engineering / database administration / data architecture roles
• Previously a Principal Engineer, Database Architect, Data Platform Lead, or Engineering Manager for data-heavy systems
• Experience in cloud-native architectures (AWS/GCP/Azure), especially with managed RDBMS services
• Comfortable reading different coding languages such as C or C++

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a Chief Architect or Technical Advisor role in fast-paced, matrixed organizations
