AMS Billing, one of Inhabit's companies, provides a utility billing management service for multi-family apartment complexes. AMS is looking for a Lead PHP Developer to join our growing team. Responsibilities include gaining a deep knowledge and understanding of the entire product portfolio; architecting new systems, products, and services; developing RESTful services; implementing changes to the database and service model; creating new modules; developing integrations with 3rd-party platforms; and, assisting the development team in their tasks. Must be highly-skilled in the technologies listed below and possess excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be a full stack developer (JavaScript/PHP/MySQL) with SysAdmin/DevOps experience in Microsoft Azure and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment where each team-member is vital to the overall success of the product. This role is critical in bridging the gap between the architectural vision and practical development execution, ensuring that our software products are not only well-designed but also effectively developed and delivered. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who excels in a collaborative environment and is committed to driving innovation and excellence in software development.
