About The Position

The Technical Lead position involves advanced software development, focusing on the design and modification of trusted applications on secure elements embedded in Android devices, as well as tools for provisioning applets. The role requires the development of HALs services such as Keymint and Identity Credentials for hardware-backed cryptographic operations. Additionally, the position entails implementing the Open Mobile API transport layer to facilitate communication between HALs and secure element applets, and automating unit tests for secure modules developed on Android security frameworks. Collaboration with secure element vendors for applet integration is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related position.
• Demonstrable knowledge of Android platform development.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Java.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 7816-4 protocol and Global Platform card specification.
• Experience with JavaCard OS and applet development.
• Familiarity with OMAPI Transport layer and cryptography.
• Experience with JCardSim and JCOP.
