About The Position

The consultant will work with business stakeholders to provide technical solutions delivering business needs across Supply Chain and Retail systems. This role requires strong expertise in Snowflake, PL/SQL, Unix/Linux and Demand Forecasting and Replenishment systems with hands-on support for Manhattan DFIO. The position involves design, development, system testing, change management, code reviews and providing proactive technical leadership in a fast-paced retail environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to analyze current business processes and build current process model diagrams and recommend improvements.
  • Strong communication skills to support upcoming planned migration from DFIO to a new planning product.
  • Facilitate gathering and documenting user and project requirements.
  • Provide expertise and best practice recommendations to the team.
  • Excellent functional knowledge of Demand Forecasting and Replenishment systems and related business processes
  • Perform support for Manhattan DFIO including after hours support, incident support, error analysis and data issue identification
  • Create system test plans and perform system testing
  • Follow change management requirements including creating change requests in Service Now
  • Track time using time reporting software.

  • 6–8+ years experience required

Responsibilities

  • Work with business stakeholders to provide technical solutions that deliver business needs
  • Assist with the design, estimation, planning and implementation phases of a project
  • Work with cloud data warehouses using Snowflake/BigQuery ensuring optimal performance, security and scalability
  • Provide functional expertise in Demand Forecasting and Replenishment systems and related business processes
  • Perform support for the Manhattan DFIO application including after hours support, incident support, error analysis and data issue identification
  • Create system test plans and perform system testing
  • Follow change management requirements including creating change requests in Service Now
  • Track time using time reporting software
  • Conduct design and code reviews to ensure architectural alignment and quality
  • Confirm program and application operation by conducting tests and modifying program sequences and/or code
  • Perform systems management and integration functions
  • Provide technical support for in scope applications
  • Work with architect and develop the code
  • Provide solutions to complex requirements
  • Peer review code of other team members
  • Create checklists for coding standards
  • Maintain key process steps defined by customer project management
  • Think out of the box and provide suggestions
  • Be creative in analyzing business requirements
  • Be extremely proactive and independent
  • Be a value addition to the team to collaborate and achieve success by completing project goals
