About The Position
As a Software Engineering Technical Lead at HireVue, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our engagement product line. Reporting to one of our Engineering Directors, you will lead technical initiatives from inception to delivery, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Your responsibilities will include driving continuous improvement and evaluating the return on investment for every decision made during the product development process. In this hands-on development and technical lead role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the HireVue platform. Your primary focus will be on architecting solutions, writing high-quality code, and mentoring other engineers by example. You will tackle technical challenges that arise during the development process, contributing significantly to the codebase and being willing to work in any area of the code as needed. You will be responsible for coding our cutting-edge human interaction software, particularly focusing on our Enterprise-level Chatbot platform. This platform is designed to help companies engage candidates effectively, improve post-hire performance, and assist candidates in landing their dream jobs. Your role will involve domain and product area ownership, specifically enhancing communications with users through various channels such as chat, email, and messaging. You will ensure seamless engagement, ultimately improving both candidate and customer experiences. Your ability to deliver quality software in a timely and predictable manner will be crucial, as you will need to identify and address challenges faced by the initiatives you lead. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to excellence in software development.
