About The Position

Edgewater is searching for a Sr. SME to work closely with Technical Leads, Developers, and Business Users to support key Microsoft 365 apps with a focus on SharePoint Online. The work will be performed onsite in Washington, DC. The position is responsible for testing and supporting SharePoint applications to ensure optimal functionality, reliability, and user experience. Key responsibilities include maintaining and working with Microsoft 365 applications, including but not limited to SharePoint and Teams. The ideal candidate combines strong technical testing skills with business acumen to deliver high-quality SharePoint based solutions that meet organizational requirements.

Requirements

All candidates must be US Citizens
At least seven years of experience in specified technical field, or four years of recent, demonstrated experience with specified emerging technology and four years of experience in a closely related technical field
Requires eight years of analytical experience
BA/BS or MA/MS in computer science, information systems, mathematics, relevant field, or equivalent experience required
Experience with SharePoint on-premises, SharePoint Online, Sharegate, Microsoft 365
Proficiency in creating and maintaining SharePoint sites
Experience with running a SharePoint farm
Proficiency in bug tracking and defect management systems (e.g., Jira)
Understanding of SQL for database management
Experience with performance testing tools
Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools
Experience with version control systems
Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum team
