About The Position

As a Technical Lead, you will provide engineering expertise and guidance in areas such as modeling, HDD design, M&R design, linear transmission/distribution, MAOP, and permitting. You will be crucial in the planning, design, procurement, and construction of natural gas pipeline facilities and other utility projects. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical preferred) with at least seven (7) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven expertise in modeling, HDD design, M&R design, linear transmission/distribution, MAOP, and permitting.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
  • Proficiency with CAD, GIS software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, etc.), and related concepts.
  • Deep understanding of industry risk management, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong understanding of profit & loss statements and budget management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly.
  • Ability to navigate regulatory agency guidance and industry laws.
  • Willingness to travel and work extended hours for project assignments and meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all project phases, including scope development, design, materials procurement, permitting, and construction assessments.
  • Work closely with project managers and staff to ensure QA/QC reviews meet client, MRS, and industry standards.
  • Conduct site visits and participate in technical/progress review meetings.
  • Lead, train, develop, and appraise divisional employees.
  • Perform feasibility assessments and make strategic recommendations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and ensure compliance with all safety policies.
