About The Position

Genetec is a market leader and innovative technology company with a broad solutions portfolio that encompasses security, intelligence, and operations. We are looking for a Technical Lead, Executive Briefing Center. In this role you will own the day-to-day operations of our DC Experience Center, keeping the space and technology customer-ready, hosting discovery calls, delivering compelling product demos that translate complex capabilities into business outcomes. You’ll manage the AV/IT stack, coordinate vendors, and partner with Sales, Marketing, and Solution Engineers to craft tailored demo journeys for both our external and internal customers.

Requirements

  • 3+ years relevant experience in Physical Security or Technology Sales
  • Creative, organized and energized by managing an on-site environment
  • Commutable distance to Arlington, VA as your primary working base
  • Well versed in Microsoft tools; most specifically Outlook, Excel & Teams
  • Strong communicator, excellent written and verbal communication skills, can adapt style to varied internal and external customers
  • Both analytical and enthusiastic, with a can-do, team player mindset
  • Ability to travel up to 30%, valid passport
  • Networking skills (TCP/IP, configure network switches and routers, wireless)
  • Experience in deploying software, operating systems and databases
  • Creating and deploying images, working in virtualized environments
  • Developing training guides or sales-oriented demonstration content

Nice To Haves

  • Security industry and/or IT background
  • Experience working in technical events, or technical inside sales
  • Professional certifications such as PSP, CCNA, Security+ or similar

Responsibilities

  • Host discovery calls to ensure alignment with messaging from the sales team for demo preparation for each in-person meeting
  • Prepare and deliver demos to our visiting customers
  • Maintain and evolve the AV/IT demo environment; ensure 99%+ uptime and readiness.
  • Manage facility security for visitors and staff, work with the Corporate Facilities team on system updates
  • Document SOP’s, instructions, and inventory for how to use and tracking of all equipment
  • Champion system upgrades for all Technology Partners’ equipment in their experience centers throughout North America
  • Source local vendors for facility maintenance and upgrades of quarterly punch list projects
  • Establish and partner with a vendor network, to scale the technical events program and ensure efficient warehousing, upgrades, asset tracking and timely shipment throughout North America
  • Collaborate with events team on equipment procurement of demo needs for North America sales equipment, both sales kits and exhibit equipment
  • Back up support for all visitor needs; front desk support, badging, receiving, catering prep
  • Some travel is expected for training and cross functional learning
