You're an xScioneer. xScion is seeking a Technical Lead/Architect to work on an xScion project team with one of our clients. As a Tech Lead/Architect, You Will: Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for the prototype development team Design and establish the overall technical vision and architecture for the prototype Make critical technical decisions while considering scalability, performance, and security Collaborate with product architecture teams for additional architectural support Coordinate with cross-functional teams on shared technical needs and resources Lead the implementation of deployment and automation strategies Work closely with Security Architecture, Security Engineering, and Security Operations teams Establish technical standards and best practices for the development team Review code and provide technical mentorship to team members Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies Ensure architecture aligns with business requirements and project goals Balance technical debt against delivery timelines To Be Successful, You Need: US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred) 7+ years of software development experience with 3+ years in technical leadership roles Proven experience designing and implementing scalable cloud-based solutions Strong knowledge of contemporary API design principles and practices Experience with containerization, microservices, and cloud-native architectures Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Understanding of security principles and compliance requirements Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide development teams Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies Background in prototype development and iterative design preferred Why xScion? Requirements

  • US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • 7+ years of software development experience with 3+ years in technical leadership roles
  • Proven experience designing and implementing scalable cloud-based solutions
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary API design principles and practices
  • Experience with containerization, microservices, and cloud-native architectures
  • Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Understanding of security principles and compliance requirements
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
