About The Position
We are seeking a hands -on leader to oversee blood bank operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across the department. This role blends technical expertise with team leadership, supporting both daily operations and long -term performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
- ASCP certification required
- 2+ years of blood bank or transfusion services experience
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead day -to -day blood bank operations and high -complexity testing
- Ensure compliance with AABB, CAP, CLIA, and regulatory standards
- Train, mentor, and develop laboratory staff
- Oversee quality control, policies, and procedures
- Troubleshoot workflow issues and drive process improvements
