Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. We are seeking a Technical Lab Support Engineer to join our Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities (SE&TC) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing calibration activities, lab access, lab scheduling, and assisting the V-22 program with hardware integration and maintenance. This position is full-time, on-site in Indianapolis, Indiana

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) or other technical field of study, and a minimum of two (2) years related experience.
  • Maintain, operate, and troubleshoot engineering laboratory environments, equipment, and instrumentation.
  • Manage auditable lab spaces, equipment inventories, and configuration control documentation in compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Support setup, configuration, and verification of lab hardware and test equipment for engineering development and testing.

Nice To Haves

  • Active DoD Secret or higher Clearance
  • V-22 aircraft and platform support processes and customer community.
  • Create, edit, and maintain procedural documentation, including departmental policies, standard operating procedures, and workflow instructions.
  • Avionics development, integration, and modernization programs
  • Experience working with government customers

Responsibilities

  • Provide basic support for developing and documenting requirements and interfaces, design analysis, modeling, system integration, and trade studies
  • Coordinate maintenance of calibrated assets via ARAMIS
  • Monitor and manage lab access via AMIS to ensure lab users maintain appropriate training
  • Manage and deconflict lab schedule to ensure proper coordination and utilization of assets
  • Facilitate procurement process for lab and program related materials
