AMERICAN SYSTEMS, an employee-owned company , is seeking an experienced Technical IT Director with an active Top Secret/SCI clearance and current polygraph to provide both strategic leadership and hands-on technical expertise to ensure continuous, secure, and reliable IT operations for our government customer's critical national security missions in Chantilly, VA. As a Technical IT Director , you will : Direct day-to-day IT operations supporting the customer’s acquisition support mission. Engage in hands-on technical work, troubleshooting, and resolving complex IT system and infrastructure issues. Coordinate closely with Information Assurance, Service Desk, and Software Development teams to maintain seamless operations. Oversee the continuous integration and deployment of software updates. Lead and mentor a team of skilled IT Engineers on new and ongoing technical projects. Manage personnel development, conduct performance reviews, and foster professional growth among AMERICAN SYSTEMS employee-owners.
