Then you could be the person we're looking for to be part of our next Summer Internship program. All technical disciplines are encouraged to apply for 2026. You will be known for: - Eagerness to learn and become a part of the Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group family; - Learning fast and adaptable to different environments; - Able to handle high risk situations and work while under pressure; During this internship, you will have the opportunity to: - Gain hands-on experience, develop skills in our technical departments, and gain knowledge about the operations of our company; - Learn more about your desired career goals while establishing a network of professional mentors, and references; - Gain insight into the key competencies, skills, and work characteristics employers seek; - Contribute to cue track documentation and participate in cue track rotation as directed; - Participate in special projects, including the installation of new departmental show elements; - Build knowledge of departmental equipment specific to the production in order to operate, inspect, and maintain it safely; - Collaborate with all departments, artistic, and stage management staff to support their needs during rehearsals, training and performances; - Be expected to follow all employee guidelines, policies and procedures as well as act in a professional manner; - Maintain a flexible schedule for work calls, special events, rehearsal/training, maintenance, and evening show performances; - Complete various assignments/projects and readings issued by your manager; - Adhere to and follow all Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations as they pertain to the safe operation of all elements related to the show; participate in all required health and safety classes and emergency rescue procedure training; - Complete all other duties as assigned by your manager. We are looking for Interns in the following disciplines: - Audio - Automation - Carpentry - Lighting - Projections - Props - Rigging - Wardrobe

Requirements

  • As of June 2026, consider yourself one of the following: 3rd or 4th year college student, recent graduate, Grad Student, or early career professional
  • After the successful completion of this internship time period, willingness, and desire to obtain a job within the Cirque Du Soleil Entertainment Group family.
  • The ability to participate the entire length of the internship program (currently 10 -12 consecutive weeks)
  • Verification of the right to work in the United States for Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group, as demonstrated by completion of the Form I-9 upon hire and the submission of acceptable documentation (as noted on the Form I-9) verifying one’s identity and work authorization
  • Prior experience in the technical live entertainment, theatre production or experience in related fields (ex: linesman, tower climbing, etc.)
  • Willing to work over-time, on weekends, nights and holidays as needed or required
  • Understand due to business needs, some work weeks might accrue less than 40 hours total
  • Ability to provide your own transportation while participating in the internship
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet
