About The Position

PSEG is looking for Summer 2026 Technical Intern for the Central Sales and Service Team. The Central Sales and Service Team is responsible for field verifying lighting product installations to ensure accuracy and identifying any billing discrepancies on customer lighting accounts, supporting operational integrity and maintaining accurate customer billing records. This position will be Hybrid Flexible from PSE&G's Springfield office with a minimum of three days a week in the office.

Requirements

  • The successful incumbent(s) must be actively pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited institution in mechanical/electrical engineering, economics, business management, or similar majors and graduating between December 2026 and May 2029.
  • Students graduating in May/June 2026 are not eligible unless they are enrolling in a post-graduate degree program in the fall term of 2026.
  • PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent.
  • Incumbents must have completed sophomore-level course work for consideration.
  • Because this position will require traveling to various PSEG and customer locations, a valid driver's license and a safe driving record is required.
  • Department of Energy's regulation 10 CFR 810 is required.

Responsibilities

  • This position will support PSE&G's Central Sales & Service operations by field verifying PSE&G lighting products for accuracy and identifying any billing discrepancies from past installations on customer's lighting accounts
  • Any inaccuracies identified will be corrected, potentially having a positive impact on the department's overall Distribution Margin Revenue.
  • General support for the team with continuous improvement and reporting
