PSEG is not offering visa sponsorship for this position. Job Summary PSEG is looking for a Summer 2026 Technical Intern for Centralized Work Planning and Scheduling. This job involves working as an Analyst for both the Strategic and Operations group. This position will be Hybrid Flexible.

Requirements

  • The successful incumbent(s) must be actively pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited institution in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field and graduating between December 2026 and May 2029.
  • Students graduating in May/June 2026 are not eligible unless they are enrolling in a post-graduate degree program in the fall term of 2026.
  • PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent.
  • Incumbents must have completed freshman level course work for consideration.
  • Because this position will require traveling to various PSEG locations, a valid driver's license and a safe driving record is required.
  • Some positions at PSEG require access to information covered by the Department of Energy’s regulation 10 CFR 810 (Part 810). Nice To Haves

  • 3.0 GPA
  • Experience working in Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Access, Visio, & PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python; familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with large data sets in Excel, Microsoft Power BI, or similar.
  • Experience identifying and implementing process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning – Assist in data gather and processing for 2026 planning.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting – review and create data in SPOT tool; identify variances and any data errors.
  • Conducting analysis using SQL, Python, or similar programming languages.
  • Creating visualizations and reports to present findings.
  • Assisting in data cleaning and preparation for analysis.
