About The Position

Technical Instructor | Course Developer - 63d Readiness Division (RD) G4 East Region, United States (U.S.) Department of War (DOW). Position: Full-Time / On-Site - 8001 Cap Robinson Rd., N. Little Rock, AR 72118 JOIN OUR TEAM! Caladwich is seeking a Technical Instructor / Course Developer to provide instructional and curriculum development support to Army Reserve personnel in the 63d Readiness Division (RD) G4 Eastern Region. The Technical Instructor is responsible for developing, revising, and maintaining technical training materials in areas such as electronics, welding, vehicle systems, or radio and electronics repair. As the Technical Instructor and Course developer you will also deliver training to maintain personnel proficiency, evaluate instructional effectiveness, and develop new techniques or courses to enhance learning outcomes. Requirements

  • Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of experience in technical instruction, course development, or related training in military or industrial settings
  • Knowledge of electronics, welding, vehicle systems, or other technical disciplines relevant to Army maintenance and operational support.
  • Proficiency with computer-based training tools, instructional software, and multimedia development for curriculum creation.
  • Familiarity with Army training regulations, technical manuals, and field-level maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively, both orally and in writing, to diverse groups of learners.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills to develop, track, and evaluate training programs and outcomes.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain installation access, background checks, and Common Access Card (CAC) eligibility in accordance with contract requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain technical training curriculum, including instructor-led, simulator-based, computer-based, and interactive courses, in accordance with Army training requirements.
  • Translate complex technical subjects into structured instructional units, incorporating graphics, examples, and real-world applications to facilitate learning.
  • Deliver technical instruction to personnel in accordance with approved curricula, ensuring comprehension and practical proficiency in assigned subject areas.
  • Evaluate and revise instructional materials and techniques to maintain effective training and incorporate lessons learned or new equipment/system updates.
  • Conduct testing, test analysis, and evaluation, developing or revising test items to assess trainee performance and mastery of technical skills.
  • Provide instructional support for new equipment fielding or updates, integrating new systems into training programs and ensuring alignment with Army standards.
  • Document and report training progress, curriculum updates, and student performance, maintaining compliance with Army regulations and contractor quality standards.
