About The Position

The Technical Inside Sales Engineer serves as a primary technical authority and take‑off specialist for Kinetics’ national sales organization, with deep expertise in vibration isolation and seismic solutions. This role owns detailed take‑offs, estimating accuracy, and proposal development for complex projects, partnering closely with outside sales, manufacturer reps, engineers, and contractors. This position is critical to ensuring speed, accuracy, and technical integrity from schematic design through construction documents—translating drawings and specifications into compliant, competitive Kinetics solutions. The role is ideal for a senior‑level professional with extensive experience performing take‑offs and estimates specific to vibration isolation and seismic applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (engineering, construction management, or technical discipline a plus).
  • 10–15+ years of experience performing technical take‑offs, estimating, and inside sales support, with specific depth in vibration isolation and seismic applications.
  • Extensive experience interpreting construction documents, specifications, and schedules for complex projects.
  • Expert‑level take‑off and estimating capability, particularly for vibration isolation and seismic systems.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to translate drawings and requirements into accurate, buildable solutions.
  • High attention to detail, organization, and deadline management across multiple complex projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; confident interacting with A/E firms, contractors, and internal teams.
  • CRM proficiency and comfort working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven sales support environment.
