About The Position

The Technical Infrastructure Program Manager for Data Center Planning and Delivery at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is responsible for overseeing data center infrastructure expansion projects specifically for U.S. Government customers. This role involves leading cross-functional teams through all phases of project management, from conceptual design to deployment, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. The position requires strong communication skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 6+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• 4+ years of project management experience including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management.
• Experience managing programs or projects across cross-functional teams.
• 4+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams.
• Bachelor's degree in architecture, electrical/mechanical engineering, civil engineering/construction management, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience developing and executing product and technical roadmaps.
• Experience building and evaluating system-level technical designs.
• Master's degree or advanced professional certifications in management of complex, high-value technical infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional and technical teams through all phases of data center infrastructure expansion projects.
• Manage capital budgets and eliminate non-value-add activities.
• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders across multiple time zones to ensure project success.
• Identify risks early and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
• Ensure data center capacity is delivered ahead of customer demand.
• Review demand forecasts and ensure timely project triggers.
• Conduct design reviews and resolve technical challenges during execution.
